The Works Of The Flesh

I wish to serve God but...

Nature keeps deceiving me...

Look at that pretty legs in skirt...

So appetizing, and attractive to the eye...

The spirit is willing but the flesh... too weak...

Oh, Lord, fill me and make me resistant to these beauties! Last night, at the all night program, this eve nearly seduced me... with that short skirt and see-me-through blouse... oh, lord have mercy...

Please lord forgive as u forgave king David...

How can i serve thee when i am so 'high' like Lot to sleep with my own daughters? Oh, this world has so many pleasures... natural and effective... marijuana and wine, are they not natural? Oh, lord, how can i leave these and serve thee in truth?

I toil, break, drag, carry, and sweat everyday for that paper... so hard to come by... hmmmm... yet i have none... how can i serve thee with empty pockets...?

Lord, make me whole, not a laughing stock, nor outcast... let my sweat and toil be fruitful so i do not turn from you...

Even king solomon, was saved despite his unwholesome life with Eves... Would you let your servant wallowing in the footsteps of Solomon perish in vain?

Did your son not turn water to wine? Was His wine not better than the previous? So, why? Save me from this thing and let it not be my addiction... I yearn to be with you so i pray...

Take my hands and let them do your desires... take my eyes and clear the poisonous pleasures from them... let them see what You desire... take my tongue and garnish my speech as you did to Jeremiah and Gideon... touch my feet and let it find its way to your church... your true congregation...

Would You deny thy servant these?
