I wish to have you close
Close enough to share your story
But I couldn't hold on
To you and now I miss you
Not even your pictures can comfort me
Letting you go was a mistake
I cannot forgive my self
Selfishness, greed not forgetting my pride
Blurred my vision of knowing you
You did your best to make me happy
But i guess i was myopic
I am not angry nor sad for you leaving me
But the void and space that you have left behind
I guess i made a childish choice earlier
When I was young and relied on the beauty of that era
I had a dream fishing with you
I only woke up realising I was alone
Under my bed is a bowl of tears
But it cannot bring you back
Now I am lonelier than before
This immortal piece is not to ask you to come back
But to let you know how I feel
Fare thee well my diamond which I never cherished
While you were in my arms
But seen and known your importance whiles you flew away!
