The Gentle Wind

The wind blows gentle on my tresses and on my face.

The wind is beautiful and a splendid friend to know.

I love the wind as it welcomes me to enter into it's realm.

No one can surpass it's candor.
And I long to become part of the wind in a futuristic time frame...

and call out it's given name, whatever it may truly be...

as I am quite certain, that the wind has a given name,

one I will say often so he or she can come out and play with me...

but for now, I will just address it as the wind, and it will smile at me,

and love me as a dear friend.
