Shadows...

Shadows dance on my wall.
I capture the beauty of them all.
They orb around me, surround me..
and I feel at peace as they dance for my delight.
I love to look at my shadows at night, when I am in bed.

I see them joyously play for my entertainment.
They are like puppets on a string, just for me alone, to watch.

One day, I may play with those shadows, but for now...

I will be just myself, and put my shadows on a shelf,

and keep them hidden from anyone else, and save a few,

and put inside my treasure box and look at them, at times, and hear them sing...

a happy little tune...for me alone.
