In the make-believe industry in Nigeria, intimidation is one thing that cannot be taken away. It is a common thing to see players in the game trying to outdo themselves to stay relevant. It becomes more serious, when a new and emerging star is playing a similar role with that of an established act.
When Mike Enzuronye was coming up, people were insinuating that he would chase Ramsey Nuoah out of business. It was not surprising when Majid Michel emerged, people started to believe that Mike would fade out.
Speaking with Nollywoodgists.com, sultry Nollywood actress, Mary Uranta disclosed that she is not intimidated or threatened by anyone in the movie industry.
“Threat,” she said, boasting that, “I don't see anyone as a threat in the industry because everybody has his own life to live and things to do for him/herself. Everybody has his style. So, nobody is a threat to me.”
Mary Uranta is an emerging Nollywood actress that is seen as the next big star in the industry. Though not yet a superstar, she commands respect in Nollywood.
