At Gani Adam's Birthday, Shina Peters Changes Name To 'Shina Adams'

It was a rude shock to many guests who attended the 43rd birthday party of the factional leader of the Oodua Peoples' Congress (OPC), Gani Adams, held few days ago in Lagos.

What really shocked many was the sudden name change of popular Juju singer, Shina Peters to 'Shina Adams'.

While giving out sweet tunes on stage at the event, the singer suddenly announced that he no longer wants to be referred to as Shina Peters but 'Shina Adams'.

Those at the event first thought it was a joke but the father of Clarence Peters maintained that he was serious about the 'sudden' name change.

He said that he used to be known as Shina Adewale until he changed it to Shina Peters which people know him as. He then said he now wants to be known as Shina Adams from that day onward.
