INDIA ARIE IN SKIN COLOUR LIGHTENING SCANDAL

The beautiful singer, who was embroiled in a scandal sometimes ago when she spoke badly about the skin colour of Nina Simone, India Arie, is now swimming in a skin lightening scandal. India Arie couldn't be recognized the last time she was checked on from her new single “Cocoa Butter” her skin is so light that a lot of people are asking if she was really India Arie.

The talented singer is known to promote black beauty especially when she sang her hit songs “Brown Skin” and “I Am Not My Hair”, however, some people are of the opinion that her “lightened” skin tone is the result of the camera flash and angle.

But, the sensational Afro-centric and R&B singer has come out to say that the controversial pictures were approved without correcting the colour of her skin.
