A bomb explosion has rocked the Tundun Wada area of the central city of Jos on Tuesday night, reports said. According to breaking news reports published online, the explosion had hit in a football viewing center in the city.
Eyewitness in the area confirmed the attack in the area, which is said to be prone to frequent attacks by Islamic militant sect, Boko Haram. It is unclear the extent of the damage caused by the attack. There were no casualties recorded at the time of filing this report.
There was a similar explosion in Yobe state on Saturday, targeting a viewing center where football fans had gathered to watch a match.
