Stratcomm Africa Holds Reading Competition Targeting Children Of Media Fraternity

Regional News Stratcomm Africa Holds Reading Competition Targeting Children Of Media Fraternity
APR 13, 2020 LISTEN

Stratcomm Africa values its work with you, and at this time when Ghanaians need Information to help each of us stay safe, Stratcomm Africa wants to let you know how much we recognize your continued service to our beloved country.

For those of you who have children of young age, we imagine the added pressure you face, with your children at home at this time as a result of COVID-19. We therefore invite your children to participate in a reading competition, which we trust will excite them and also contribute to keeping them a little busy in this time.

The Stratcomm Africa Reading and Writing competition is part of the Stratcomm Africa Read it, Write it, Say it Better initiative, designed for children between ages 5 and 13. This particular competition, specially designed for your children at this time involves the following:

1. The child reads a book and answers questions to be provided as part of the competition.

2. The child submits the answers to the questions via the email address [email protected].

3. Winners, selected over a period of four weeks - 1 each week, will be awarded an amount of GHS 200.00 each, for any books or stationery of their choice, as well as other surprises.

If your child/children who are within the stipulated age group are interested in participating in this competition, please see below for the next steps:

1. Register your child by sending an email to [email protected] in which you detail your child’s name and age. The deadline for this registration is 5:00pm, Monday 20th April, 2020.

2. You will receive a reply, letting you know the age group in which your child is competing.

3. Further directions will be given once registration is complete.

You yourselves are readers and writers, and we have no doubt your children will enjoy this activity, especially if you remind them that this is what you are constantly doing, and also continue to advise them about the benefits of reading and writing.
