Atebubu-Amantin MCE Assures Community Members Of Development

The Atebubu-Amantin Municipal Chief executive Hon. Edward Owusu has assured the people of the predominantly farming community in the municipality of the assembly’s preparedness to address their developmental concerns.

At a meeting with the Odikro and elders of the community, the MCE said with the Atebubu-Seneso road which runs through the community about 65% complete, the road will soon be graveled to ease the transportation difficulties faced by the people.

He said the municipal assembly will make available 25 electric poles for the extension of power to various houses within the community by the close of June this year together with energy saving bulbs to help reduce their electricity bills.

In response to an urgent appeal by the Odikro of the community Nana Owusu Ababio, the MCE promised to immediately make available 5 electric poles for the extension of electricity to the CHPS compound to aid health care delivery in the community.

Hon. Edward Owusu used the opportunity to advise the gathering on the covid-19 pandemic urging them to observe social distancing and also beware of visitors. He urged them to practice constant handwashing to help keep the disease at bay.
