The Member of Parliament for the Yapei Kusawgu Constituency Hon. John Jinapor has donated assorted items to the Central Gonja District to help in the fight against the COVID-19.
Hon. John Jinapor donated Veronica buckets, hand sanitizers and plastic containers among others to the Health Directorate on Monday.
The NDC Constituency Secretary who led the delegation on behalf of the MP urged the authorities to enforce the directives of the President as they will help curb the spread of the Coronavirus.
The Constituency Secretary Iddi Latif also re-echoed the need for regular hand washing, and hence the purpose of the MP's donation to the district.
The District Health Director Daniel Duubik who received the delegation thanked the Member of Parliament for his support in the fight against the Coronavirus and assured them that the items would be put to good use.
Mr. Daniel Duubik later disclosed that the District Assembly will be disinfecting markets in the district on Wednesday.
