The month of May has been a really good one for Asante Kotoko defender Shilla Illiasu.
His impressive displays in defence for the Porcupine Warriors propelled them to a historic CAF Champions league group berth.
Shilla Illiasu also gate crashed Ghana's world cup party by securing a place in the 23man squad announced by coach Ratomir Dujkovic.
The stylish defender's good form has not gone unnoticed. He has recieved an invitation by German club Hamburg for a series of trials.
He left Ghana last Thursday for Hamburg on the recommendation of Hamburg's assistant coach, Ralf Zumdick. Zumdick worked with Illiasu during his time in charge at local Premier league side King Faisal.
