5 Attitudes Making Ghana A Hell For Us Financially

Many will say times are changing and the currency of Ghana is depreciating so for that matter difficult times are normal. Difficult times aren't normal we don't just have a choice sometimes.

Here are some of the reasons we struggling financially in Ghana.

1. Treasury Bills: Most Ghanaians have resorted to getting their monies into treasury bills instead of Setting up businesses that could generate employment for others and yield some competitive market that will stabilize prices of similar businesses they would have engaged in. keeping money in treasury bills will keep it away from the system making the system stiff.

2. Changing New Phones: Many will see this not to be fact enough but ask yourself can you swap your phone in a phone shop for a new one? No! You have to double your load by buying the latest in addition. The cheapest smartphone in Ghana is around $48, most Ghanaians are fond of chasing new phone brands instead of sticking to the quality, they buy a phone and in less than 3 months a new model is in so they attempt all possible means to buy it in order to access the qualities, this engineer's so much spending forgetting all those monies are taken out of the country. At least $27 Million is spent by Ghanaians on changing to latest phones mostly due to Nothing but camera quality, if you really need picture quality I'll suggest you buy a camcorder. Another critical issue is the Rate at which High schools dismantle phones in schools, the Regional education directorate should set up a committee that will collect all seized phones from senior high schools in order to Auction them and earn some IGF for the education directorate for internal developments rather than breaking or crushing phones, crushing them won't stop the students from buying again making it a double loss.

3. Fashion: Everyone should look neat and appealing but looking updated in fashion is not that cheap, being updated in fashion doesn't mean you are rich or expensive it only makes you extravagant and unapproachable. The worse of it is spending more on foreign brands forgetting the local one. The money going out will only return when we go for it as a loan.

4. Using Private Cars always: Using a car is good but at least once in a while you should Save that Ghc100 for fuel and take a Uber to work, at least we all know you have a car so stop stressing yourself and making those shell stations stinking rich.

5. Internet and Calls: these two things spend a lot from us without our knowledge renewing your call bundle or internet bundles in this era of high taxes isn't cheap, if you are a Vodafone user kindly make use of their Vodafone Cash bundles or better still dial *200# or *5881# to safe your life. MTN, try *567# or *141# to save your life

I hope this will help you
