IMANI Ghana met their meter on the Net2 TV yesterday on the debate for whether or not the EC should compile New Voters Register for 2020 general elections.

The Aspiring MP for Afigya Kwabre North constituency, Mr Peter Antwi Boasiako yesterday deeply schooled the IMANI's research director on the three aspects of the need for a new voters register in Ghana.

Peter, took time to explain three aspects, thus, the Commonsense aspect, the Technical aspect and the Political aspect of the urgent need for Ghana obtain new voters register for 2020 general elections, build new Data Centre for EC for them to own their operation code and to buy new equipment to compile new register which will cost mess than the total amount use for previous limited registrations, since the existing Biometric Equipment are totally obsolete.

Mr Peter Antwi Boasiako, who is also a UK Authorised High Voltage Engineer and IT expert, and an aspiring parliamentary candidate for NPP at Afigya Kwabre North constituency, did excellent justice to the issue to educate him and all about the serious issue the EC is facing with the existing BVM equipment.

The general comments by the public following the programme were that, people wondered how could the IMANI Ghana make any further arguments on the issue of the proposed New Voters register again going forward?

We wait to see the IMANI's response to Engineer Peter Antwi Boasiako's analysis made on NET2 TV political show - The Seat!
