The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Awutu Senya East, Hon. Michael Essuman Mensah has inaugurated NABCO trainees for the National Digital Property and Addressing System (NDPAS) project.
Inaugurating the team during the 63rd independence day celebration, Hon. Essuman Mensah said NDPAS was to tag four 4million plus properties in Ghana with digital addresses.
According to him, the project would assist in public services delivery, banking and finance, security and protection and others.
"Today NABCO trainees have been commissioned to start work on providing Digital Addresses in Awutu Senya East Municipality. The digital address plate would have the property number, the street name and the digital address of the property," he stated.
The trainees pledged their commitments and assured the MCE of Awutu Senya East of working assiduously to make the programme a success.
