Sunyani MCE Interacts With Abattoir Workers

The Sunyani Municipal Chief Executive, Justina Owusu Banahene has visited the main Abattoir in the Bono regional capital.

She interacted with workers at the facility and get at first hand, their major concerns.

The MCE encouraged the workers to keep the immediate surroundings and the entire abattoir clean at all times to ensure that all meat is prepared are wholesome for consumption.

“One thing I observed when I came here was that you were not preparing the meat with tyre but rather with fire-wood, and I must commend you for that. Let’s be God-fearing, and serve the people with a good heart and with all humility and have the interest of the public at heart”, she stated.

Madam Owusu Banahene further advised them to take good care of their families, especially their spouses and children, and consider forming co-operatives to strengthen their capacities.
