Could ABA Fuseini Be Smarter Than Ya-Na Abubakari Mahama II? – Part 1

It is quite pathetically obvious that Mr. Alhassan Fuseini – aka ABA Fuseini – may very well be strung high up on drugs, when the National Democratic Congress’ Member of Parliament for Sagnarigu, in the Northern Region, asserts, rather fatuously, that President Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has done little to absolutely nothing to facilitate the current atmosphere of peace and security being enjoyed by the chiefs and people of Dagbon or the Dagomba Community in the country (See “Akufo-Addo Is the Least Contributor to Dagbon’s Peace – ABA Fuseini” Ghanaweb.com 2/25/20).

There is absolutely no need to go down to the fecal and idiotic level of Mr. Fuseini to argue over a matter that has already been conclusively decided by Ya-Na Abubakari Mahama, II, and his courtiers, councilors and elders, when the Supreme Overlord of Dagbon not very long ago decided to name Nana Akufo-Addo as a bona fide son and chieftain of Dagbon soil and kingdom. Of course, Ya-Na Abubakari, II, could have invited the four presidents who preceded Nana Akufo-Addo, three of whom are still with us, namely, former Presidents Jerry John Rawlings, John Agyekum-Kufuor and John Dramani Mahama, to equally share in the honor bestowed on the former Kufuor-appointed Attorney-General and Minister of Justice; but the Ya-Na did not, although the Dagbon Supreme Chieftain had appropriately commended all the previous leaders who had significantly contributed to the amicable and peaceful settlement of the Dagbon Crisis, most notably The Asantehene, His Majesty, Otumfuo Osei-Tutu, II, and the Eminent Chiefs who undertook the long and tedious journey that culminated in the auspicious and apparently definitive resolution of the Dagbon Crisis.

It is also criminally disingenuous for Mr. Fuseini, a former Deputy Northern Regional Minister, to pretend that if President Akufo-Addo had so desired, he would not have been able to cause the summary dissolution and immediate reconstitution of the membership of the Eminent Chiefs Group. You see, the pathological and scandalous cynic in the Sagnarigu NDC-MP prevents Mr. Fuseini from wisely realizing that it was part of his inimitable leadership genius that ensured that President Akufo-Addo would foresightedly reactivate and rejuvenate the mandate of the Eminent Chiefs Group that finally succeeded in bringing about the peaceful and amicable settlement of the Dagbon Crisis. Conversely, it was the abject lack of such leadership flair, skills and genius that had ensured that the Dagbon Crisis would not be resolved under the contract-assassination-inflected Dumsor tenure of Mr. John Dramani Mahama. Maybe it is the last Skin-Name of Ya-Na Abubakari, that of “Mahama,” that seems to have confused and fooled Mr. Fuseini into falsely thinking and believing that his former paymaster had played any significant role in the landmark resolution of the Dagbon Chieftaincy Crisis.

The stark fact of the matter is that Mr. John “Kanazoe” Dramani Mahama was too busy begging for and collecting bribes under false pretenses – that is, in the name of the unsuspecting Ghanaian taxpayer – to have worried himself about working assiduously to resolve the Dagbon Chieftaincy Crisis. It is also patently false for Mr. Fuseini to flagrantly assert that the man who so publicly and shamelessly hailed Mr. Alfred Agbesi Woyome for stealing GHȻ 51.2 Million of the Ghanaian taxpayer’s money, would also be interested in rounding up and prosecuting the prime suspects in the indescribably barbaric butchering of Ya-Na Yakubu Andani, II, and some 40 courtiers of the Dagbon Palace.

Indeed, as we all clearly witnessed, President John Evans Atta-Mills, late, was far more interested in scoring cheap political points, with the devious complicity of his former boss and kingmaker, former President Rawlings, than bringing a definitive closure to the Dagbon Crisis. Which inescapably explains why Attorney-General Betty Mould-Iddrisu and her equally bumbling Deputy, Mr. Ebo Barton Odro, the former was later succeeded by Mr. Martin ABK Amidu, the current Independent Special Prosecutor, would comically cause to be arraigned before a legitimately constituted court of the land an alleged prime suspect in the brutal murder of Ya-Na Yakubu Andani, II, who was only four (4) years old when this most hideous of crimes was committed.

It would take Lawyer Samuel Atta Akyea, the current Minister of Works and Housing, barely a couple of hours to expose the patent scam and charade that was the entire hocus-pocus propaganda spiel and pretense to bringing to justice the falsely accused and viciously scapegoated killers of Ya-Na Yakubu Andani, II. This is the sort of ministerial hatchet job of veritable criminality undertaken by Mr. Fuseini in his second-bananas capacity as the Northern Regional Minister under the now-Candidate John Dramani Mahama.
