NDC Needs Peace to Succeed In Ablekuma North

Hon. Abdul Wahab J. Abubakar , the Constituency Zongo Caucus Coordinator for the opposition NDC in Ablekuma North has appealed for peace among the rank and file of the party within the Constituency.

He said for both our Presidential and Parliamentary candidates to win massively and convincingly, "we need peace amongst ourselves so as to be able to work together in the run up to the the December 2020 elections."

The Ablekuma North Zongo Caucus Coordinator made the passionate appeal during the occasion of the inauguration of the Constituency's Zongo Caucus Working Committee at Darkuman Official Town, in the Ablekuma North Constituency of the Greater Accra Region.

Mr. Abubakar pointed out that unity within the party is paramount if all the Zongos within the constituency are to be delivered to the NDC.

He used the opportunity to call on all NDC members in Ablekuma North to also come on board to contribute their quota towards victory 2020.

Hon. Abubakar tasked the Committee members to work assiduously to educate electorates especially floating voters on the good policies and programmes the party has for the people of Ghana.

"We need to work effectively and efficiently to canvass for massive votes for our dear party in this constituency, " he stated.

He assured that they will leave any stone unturned as they will intensify their house to house campaigns in the three Zongos of the constituency to ensure the objectives for which they were selected to form the working committee is achieved massively.

To that end,he expressed the Committee's readiness and commitment to work hard towards victory for the NDC not only in Ablekuma North but Ghana at large.

He reiterated their readiness to conduct their campaigns and programs in a peaceful and non violent manners .

"Our campaign shall be based on issues, ideologies and above all violent free in accordance to the party's structure devoid of tensions, insults, accusations and counter accusations," he clarified.

On his part, hon. Ismaila Ali Horoya, the NDC's Greater Accra Zongo Caucus Coordinator urged the Workng Committee to work in unison with one voice so as to achieve their objectives.

Mr. Horoya tasked the newly inaugurated Working Committee members to try and justify the hope reposed in them by working effectively to the admiration of all.

"Let people see and feel that your selection into the committee is justifiable and that you deserve to be selected. You can only do this when there is peace and unity amongst yourselves", Mr. Horoya emphasised.

The Greater Accra NDC Zongo Caucus Boss, further added his voice on the need for a violent free campaign in the Constituency and the region as a whole.

"This election shall be won based on track records as well as programmes and policies the two leading political parties have for Ghanaians," he intimated.

He encourages the committee to try as much as they can to sell well the ideologies and programs of former President John Dramani Mahama to the good people of Ablekuma North.
