AWW MP Lydia Seyram Outlines Better Healthcare Projects For Her People

Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency Hon. Lydia Seyram Alhassan says she has improved health care system and ensure massive changes in an effort to guarantee the health and well-being of the people in his constituents.

However, she stressed that,''she has made progress towards achieving universal health coverage within the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency.''

Speaking to Kwaku Dawuro on 'Anopa Nkomo' on Accra-based Kingdom FM 107.7,Hon. Lydia Seyram Alhassan stressed that , through massive key health reforms, including implementing a national health insurance scheme, government has affirmed its commitment to increasing financial protection and access to needed health services.

" Within this few years I have been able to provide monetary assistance to many health facilities within my constituents and committed to improving access to essential and quality health services through the provision of the necessary health infrastructure, equipment and logistics, including the deployment of appropriate technology, as part of our drive to attaining Universal Health Coverage.”

According to her, she is committed to ensuring that citizens’ right to health are guaranteed through an established health sector with sustainable ability to deliver affordable, equitable, and easily accessible healthcare.

The law-maker said globally, there is a growing need for high quality health workforce for healthcare delivery.
