Hospital authorities at the Holy Family hospital in Techiman have prohibited a 34 year old man, Ibrahim Sorbgou, from coming to the hospital for sexually harassing female patients.Sorbgou who hails from Gburu in the Upper West Region but domiciled at Jema, near Kintampo was admitted at the Hospital in June last year when an unidentified vehicle knocked him down at Jema.

GNA sources quoted the Personnel Manager of the Hospital, Antwi Boasiako, as saying that when he was discharged about six months ago he could not foot his bill of more than ¢10 million cedis but the hospital management allowed him to go. Mr Boasiako said after Sorbgou was discharged, he clandestinely found his way into the hospital hostel and started harassing the women there for sex.

The personnel manager said Sorbgou's behaviour came to the notice of the hospital authorities and he was consequently picked from his hideout and handed over to the police.Chief Inspector Sampson Y. Jebuni at the police charge office confirmed the story and said his relatives in Techiman had arranged to transport him back to Jema.
