Sissala East NPP Electoral Area Coordinators Endorse Amidu Chinnia Issahaku Against Incumbent MP

Good morning ladies and gentlemen of the press. We will also like to seize the opportunity to extend our sincere greetings to all our brothers and sisters in our great tradition, the New Patriotic Party. We have invited you all here today to cover and publish a very important and historic business. The business is the picking and handing over of the nominations form for the Sissala East constituency NPP parliamentary primaries to honourable Amidu Chinnia Issahaku or his assigns. The people behind this action are we the 16 electoral area coordinators out of 21 in the constituency. We the 16 electoral area coordinators of the 21 electoral area coordinators which represent 76.2% of the total electoral area coordinators votes are openly declaring our support for honourable Amidu Chinnia Issahaku. We are doing this knowing we have the backing and blessings of our polling station executives in our various electoral areas.

At this juncture ladies and gentlemen, we'll like to make few points to explain our actions:

1. Every election has its own dynamics. The aspirant we support and are campaigning for, AMIDU CHINNIA ISSAHAKU, IS THE ONLY CANDIDATE AMONG THOSE THAT HAVE DECLARED INTEREST TO CONTEST, THAT CAN RETAIN THE SISSALA EAST CONSTITUENCY SEAT FOR THE NPP IN 2020. ANY OTHER CANDIDATE WILL BE A RISK TO GAMBLE WITHIN THE 2020 ELECTIONS FOR THE NPP.

2. Ladies and gentlemen of the press, it is an open secret that all the aspirants except Amidu Chinnia Issahaku have lost touch and popularity within the NPP. This can be scientifically verified among the constituency executives, electoral area coordinators, polling station executives, patrons, party elders and the masses of the people in the Sissala East constituency. We the electoral area coordinators who are supposed to be lead campaigners do not see some of the contenders to be good leaders. We see them to be people with very poor and abysmal leadership and management skills which make them very bad products to market in the 2020 elections. However Amidu Chinnia Issahaku has kept and is still keeping touch with all segments of the constituency including traditional leaders. This statement is the voice of the entire constituency. No wonder he is called THE PEOPLES MAN.

3. Ladies and gentlemen of the press, we these same electoral area coordinators campaigned and produced constituency executives in a block in February 2018 by the highest margin of victory in the annals of this constituency. We have no doubt that our efforts will produce nothing but a landslide victory for Amidu Chinnia Issahaku comes this 25th April, 2020, In sha Allah.

Ladies and gentlemen of the press, we finally like to draw your attention that the 2020 elections is going to be a rigorous process judging from the sharpness of the opposition candidates. A process in our considered view the aspirant we support has the capacity, the will and commitment to apply himself to. SO WHY LOOK ANY FURTHER WHEN AMIDU CHINNIA ISSAHAKU IS READILY AVAILABLE TO DEMONSTRATE QUALITY, COMMITMENT, CONFIDENCE AND ABOVE ALL COMPETENCE.

Ladies and gentlemen of the press, we the 16 electoral area coordinators, our polling station executives and the majority of party members we represent, wish to send a word of caution to all external forces to stay away from the Sissala East NPP internal primaries. This is because we as a constituency have the competence, commitment and faith to govern and retain the seat. We know what is good for us and for that matter our rural constituency needs to be boldly registered on the constituency map of Ghana. Amidu Chinnia Issahaku can do this for us.

Fellow party men and media personnel, we are pleased to inform you that we the 16 electoral area coordinators pulled together our own resources to obtain the nominations forms for and on behalf of honourable Amidu Chinnia Issahaku.

We will conclude by assuring and reassuring you again that IT IS ONLY AMIDU CHINNIA ISSAHAKU WHO CAN RETAIN THE SISSALA EAST CONSTITUENCY SEAT FOR THE NPP IN 2020. ANY OTHER CANDIDATE WILL BE A VERY SERIOUS AND DANGEROUS RISK.
