Osofo Kyiri Abosom is rallying full support for the Electoral Commission (EC) on its decision to compile a new voter's register for the December 2020 Elections.

Rev. Christian Kwabena Andrew, is the Leader and Founder of the new political party, Ghana Union Movement (GUM) and also the Head Pastor and General Overseer of the Life Assembly Worship Centre.

He is calling on all Ghanaians to support the EC because it is that same institution has held 7 successful elections so far in the country.

The Electoral Commission (EC) recently stressed the need for the compilation of new voters register for the upcoming general election adding that the exercise is not a waste of resources.

The EC in its quest to compile a new voters' register said it is committed to judiciously spending the about GH¢400 million it was granted by Parliament to be spent on the process.

The funds are also expected to be spent mainly on procuring electoral materials as well as recruitment of election officials for all polling stations across the country.

According to Osofo Kyiri Abosom, the EC has a track record of successful elections and they once again need the support of all Ghanaians to be able to hold yet another credible elections in December 2020.

"The EC is a very serious electoral institution and so Ghanaians need to support them. Due to the professional work and solid credibility upheld by the EC, the new Voter's Register is a good call that my party the Ghana Union Movement (GUM) is in full support of it."

Osofo Kyiri Abosom was speaking to Kwesi Fokuo Kudom Kayaso (KK) the Host of PAE MU KA on Local Digital TV Adinkra TV.
