Kogi Pastor Denies Using Concoction Made From Herbs As Spiritual Healing Water
LISTEN JAN 6, 2020

The general overseer of New Tabernacle Church, Ikuehi- Ihima in Okehi Local Government of Kogi State, Pastor Paul Damisa has refuted the insinuation in some quarters that he uses concoction made from herbs to serve as spiritual holy healing water for members of his church.

Pastor Paul Damisa made the disclosure when this reporter visited his church and had a press interview with him on the alleged blackish substance prepared in bottle being given out to members who needed solution to their health challenges.

Paul hinted that the said blackish watery substance was never a concoction from herbs rather a mixture of anointing water and zobo juice.

He explained that the said mixture was used to represent the blood of Jesus as if taken is capable of removing any evil bondage in human body.

He further noted that his church is not the only church in Nigeria using coloured substance as holy healing water noting that Dunamis and Mountain of Fire Miracle Church have something similar for their members too.

‘’When you go to Dunamis, they have coloured and blackish watery substance which they use as Holy Communion. When you go to Mountain of Fire Miracle Church, there is something they called manner water and it is not pure. It is coloured and blackish in nature. So, can you say those watery substances are concoction made from herbs," he questioned.

Paul Damisa declared that he is not running a secret Church as all his activities are open to the public noting that his ministry is presently registered with Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria declaring that his church pays taxes to government too. He added that his door is open to members of the public who wants to make further enquiry on the activities of his church.

He further buttressed that he did not just jump into church activities as he once fellowshipped in Living faith Church where he rose to become a deacon. ‘’I was not just a deacon, I rose to become an assistant Pastor and later full-fledged Pastor before I finally heed to the call of God to establish my own Church."
