Fire Destroys V8, V6 Vehicles, Building At Osu

Report reveals that on Sunday an inferno ravaged seven vehicles in a mechanic shop at Osu, Accra.

The raging fire which spread to an adjoining residential building, destroying three rooms and their washrooms also destroyed the engine areas of some vehicles including a V8 and V6.

Reporting Sunday's tragedy for 3news, Moses Dickson said “The cars are quite new,” adding a motorbike in the affected residential building was also destroyed.

It is not clear what started the fire but eyewitnesses suspect an electrical fault.

According to 3news, it took personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service 40 minutes to totally extinguish the fire. No injuries or deaths occurred.
