We will Train Motor Riders in 2020 to reduce death tolls – Kwame Bekoe
20.12.2019 LISTEN

The Attention of National Courier Association of Ghana has been drawn to take a critical look at safety measures requisite for safe riding of motorcycles across Ghana. According to Dr. Daniel Asare, CEO of Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital - 50% of accident deaths at Korle-Bu are through Motor Cyclist.

Our process as an Association runs smoothly to ensure we train Motor Cyclist on safe riding, despite the number of crashes involved in a year goes up outrageously. We as stakeholders have considered running quarterly training for all motorcyclists across the country so they would be equipped with required skills and competence for riding Motorcycles.

We will collaborate with all stakeholders to map up this strategy in reducing death tolls in the country. We have no doubt that there will be competitive advantage for us so lives lost in a year through Motor accident would drop drastically.

We assure the public of safe riding of motorist in 2020. Thank You.

Signed

Kwame Bekoe

National President (National Courier Association Of Ghana)
