Digital Marketer and Brand Strategist, Kwao Lezzes-Tyt, has lamented that some Ghanaians still get scammed by fraudulent online activities and has cautioned individuals to set their two-factor authentication on.

The two-factor authentication is a security feature introduced to enhance the accessibility of an account.

"KEEP YOUR ACCOUNT SAFE!! Two-factor authentication is a security feature. If you set up two-factor authentication, you'll be asked to enter a special login code or confirm your login attempt each time someone tries accessing your account from a device we don't recognize.” he said in a recent post.

Ghanaians still get scammed by online get rich schemes

"I have been looking around on the internet and I see a lot of people asking for ways to make money online, the keyword “how to make money online” is one of the most popular keyword in google searches with over 100 of search request every minute.

According to google trends, Ghana produces the highest search query on this keyword, with Jamaica and Nigeria following hot on its trails proves that a lot of people are not really carrying the right mindset into this making money online thing. Some set goals like I want to make $10 daily from Google AdSense from my new blog while some hope to get like $3000 from amazon affiliate in a month.

I’m no hater of small beginnings nor discouraging little starting goals like $5 or $10 per day. It really doesn’t matter if you choose to make $5 per day to boost your confidence in the new blog you just created or if you want to make $10,000 per month selling your services to support your family… To be real honest… To make money online, it all starts with YOU.

Stay focused be patient in whatever you do and it would pay in due time, real success takes patience for growth to manifest. Some people contact me for online money-making methods, for secrets, for the easy way out. Well, unless you have a money-making machine stacked up in your garage or in your bedroom you will find that there aren’t any magic secrets to fill your bank account with money.

A lot of "make money online" blogs make it seem easy. Why? Because they want the newbies to sign up for the product they sell (wild guess? An e-book). To me, it’s all hoax… all those self-acclaimed specialists make money deceiving newbies they can make millions online by buying their book, signing up to their affiliate programs to make money off referrals or product for a secret method and it’s a pity many young Ghanaians still get scammed by this people.
