The prosecutors in the Kasoa Police shooting case have told the court that they are waiting for advice from the Attorney General on how to proceed with the matter.

According to the prosecutors, the Attorney General to complete the bill of indictment to allow the case to move to the High court for trial to commence.

The suspect, Eric Kojo Duah, is facing trial on the charge of murder after six other accused persons were discharged by the court for lack of evidence against them.

The two police officers Sergeant Michael Djamesi and Lance Corporal Mohammed Awal were killed when the suspect allegedly opened fire on them along the Kasoa to Budumburam stretch in their attempt to carry out a check on their car.
