2nd Annual Emotional Intelligence Africa Summit Slated For November 14

The second edition of Emotional Intelligence Africa Summit 2019 has been slated for Thursday November 14, at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Greenhill campus, Accra.

The summit is being organized by Addison International in partnership with the GIMPA - Graduate Students' Association of Ghana and the Students Representative Council (SRC), a statement issued by Founder of Addison International, Mr. James Kwasi Addison and copied to the media stated.

The summit is on the theme: ‘Building National Character of the New Ghanaian; the Role of Emotional Intelligence.’

Founder and Host of the Summit, Mr. Addison said this powerful community learning event, has the primary objective of creating understanding of the importance of “building Emotional Capital in Africa”.

He further hinted that the community audiences in Accra will be watched via social feeds across Africa and Europe.

"The purpose is to project everything to many thousands of Africans," he stated.

Mr. Addison assured participants that speakers will provide unique insights about the importance that emotional safety and resilience plays in our lives, with interactive workshops which will un-pack some practical elements of emotional intelligence.

The summit will be attended by other VIPs from political, academic and faith leadership, as well as international VIPs based in Africa. The day according to James will be used to explore emotional intelligence within the community, education and workplace.

According to him, the summit will be concluded with an audience-led Question Time panel where speakers and VIPs field questions from the audiences around the world; centered upon their thoughts on Emotional Intelligence and building capability to meet Africa’s needs.
