TopAfric e.V. a nonprofit organisation chaired by Mr. Desmond John Beddy initiated the African Youth Education Awards (AYEA) with the aim to encourage African youth to take their education serious by awarding them and introducing them to mentors who will motivate them.

The AYE awards has the vision to raise the educational and professional achievement of youth of African origin in Germany by empowering them.

Naadiatu-Bagigah Bawah, a 22year old Ghanaian residing in Hanover, Germany for the past ten years made it as one of the winners of the 9th AYE awards held at the Handelskammer in Hamburg on the 2nd November 2019.

The young lady has got a solid educational background. She is trained as a Management Assistant for Wholesale and foreign trade which she graduated successfully in January 2019. She has also gained admission to study at the Hochschule Fresenius.

Besides that she is socially engaged in many unions as she is the General Secretary of GaDangme Europe, Secretary of Ga-Ada Network e.V. and ADV Nord e.V. The most excelling part is that she has her own foundation in Ghana with the aim of catering for orphans and abandoned children.

Naadiatu -Bagigah Bawah stated in an interview with the AYEA team that she is highly motivated and eager as she is willing to put in more efforts in her education to move it to the highest level knowing there will be great challenges in it.
