You Were Rather Caught Sleeping--Ofosu Kwakye Reminds Nana Addo

Former Deputy Minister of Communications, Felix Ofosu Kwakye, has jabbed the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for forgetting his “infamous sleeping saga” at the Russia-Africa Summit.

He said, it is sad for the President to describe Mahama and the NDC as a sleeping party whiles “he is the one seen sleeping.”

The President in a statement as part of his Volta Regional tour yesterday said, former President Mahama is not privy to the developmental projects widely spread across the country because he’s sleeping.

In his words, Mahama and the NDC are in their slumber, saying they are asleep.

Reacting to the comment on Ekosiisen political talkshow on Asempa Fm, the former minister said it is rather unfortunate the President thinks the NDC is asleep.

“You just came back from Russia and saw what transpired, the clips available, we all saw the person rather sleeping. So, am surprise the president will be talking of sleeping whiles it’s just two weeks ago he was spotted sleeping at the international front” he told the host.

According to him, the President has lost touch with governance and sought to sleeping at international summits.

In a fresh photo making waves on social media and sighted by modernghana.com captured the President on a sleeping spree at the durbar whiles touring some constituencies in the Volta region.

The President is seen sleeping in full dose as presentations of national needs are being delivered.
