The member of Parliament for Salaga South constituency and Savanna regional minister Adam Salifu Braimah has donated sowing machines to the women wing of the dress makers association in Salaga.
The gesture according to him is to equip members of the association to train more young women.
15 sowing machines were presented to them.
At a short ceremony to hand over the machines, Mr. Braimah assured the association of more support.
He said, he is working to revamp the vocational training centre in Salaga.
This he said will provide not only skills to the youth but also provide employment for their trainers.
"I know the challenges you face in the course of your training and I assure you of my support"
Receiving the items on behalf of the association, Abiba Issifu assured the MP the machines would be used for the intended purpose.
She noted, the donation was timely.
