B.A United will qualify -Coach Awudu

Apostles of powerful soccer, Brong Ahafo United`s coach has reassured supporters of the team`s qualification to the premiership despite their position on the log of the on-going National Middle League.

Coach Awudu Nasir spoke to METRO SPORTS after their match against Accra Great Olympics on wednesday at the Nkawkaw park which they lost 1-2.He stated that a lot of things did not go well for them hence their first lose in the league.

"We started well in the first half but the referee`s decision to red card our life wire Abedi Sarfo caused us a lot and the experience of my players could not match that of Olympics who were more composed today".He disclosed.The coach also stated that the rainfall on the day made the ball uncontrollable for his boys which led to so many blunders to Olympics` advantage.

The coach however assured his fans of a qualification considering the points gap and the determination of the players to play in the premiership this season."We can still qualify because we can win our last match and that will at least give us a chance in the play-off".He said.The Sunyani based team have drawn thrice and lost once in the middle league and has just a match to determine their fate.

In another development,the Division One League Board has postponed the last round of matches due to cases before the Disciplinary Commitee of the G.F.A.
