Accra, March 7, GNA - A number of clubs and players have been requested to appear before the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Tuesday March 9 at 4;00 pm. The Clubs involved are Accra Great Olympics and Tema Youth for match violence, Topsmore against Aduana Stars, Gamba All Blacks against Brong Ahafo United and Aduana Stars against B.A. United.
A release issued by the Administrative Officer of the GFA, Mr Isaac Addo copied to the GNA Sports named the officials as Walter Yankah and M.N.S. Doe and referees are Alex Kotey, Annan Lomotey and John Mensah. The players include Akwasi Boateng, Kwame Attrams, Issifu Abbas and Abedi Sarfo.
The Committee said it would go ahead to determine the cases if any of the clubs, players or officials fails to appear or it would struck out the cases for want of prosecution if the complainants fail to appear.
It requested all concerned to come along with any relevant evidence for their respective cases. 07 March 06
