The Barbecue Masters, AMA Mark World Egg Day

The Barbecue Masters has partnered with the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) to celebrate the world egg day under the theme; "An Egg a Day is a Whole Meal."

The organization, knowing the benefit of eggs for children, chose the Independence avenue 1and 2 clusters of schools in Accra and distributed thousand five hundred eggs to the school children from kindergarten to the Junior High School (JHS).

Hon. K Clottey, from the Mayor’s office spoke to the children about the benefit and the nutrients they will gain from eating eggs.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the organization Mr. David and his partner Miss Dora also urged all parents to at least give their children one egg a day.

They also called on government to add eggs to the school feeding program since eating eggs open the brains of the children to become intelligent and help them grow stronger.
