All-Share index inches up

Accra, Feb. 27, GNA - The main stock index inched up on Monday in another quiet trading that saw only one equity making a move. The GSE All-Share Index gained 0.13 points to close at 4,730.11 points from 4,729.98 points on Friday.

Change for the year, however, remained at -0.82 per cent. Traded shares were 220,500 from a mere 18,600 on Friday while market capitalisation went up to 91,815.11 billion cedis from 91,844.89 billion cedis on Friday.

On the broader market, there was only one price change, a two-cedi gain by Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited at 8,552 cedis.
