Scores of National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters have besieged the Greater Accra Regional Command to show solidarity to some leaders of Tuesday's ROPAB demonstration who were invited to report to the Police, following the bail granted them on Wednesday.
The group was invited by the Police immediately after Wednesday's NDC Press Conference to react to some fallout of the Anti-ROPAB (Representation of the People's Amendment Bill) demonstration. They were to answer questions pertaining to some incidents that occurred during Tuesday's protest march.
Speaking to a local radio station, a leader of the group, Hon. Mahama Ayariga said that he is not surprised at the spectacle because it is in order for well meaning members of the society to show love to people who fight for such a worthy cause. The Member of Parliament for Bawku Central, who looked rather calm and unperturbed about the whole situation, said they were still awaiting the Police to for its next line of action.
