Feb. 23 Big Day for Ghana -'Prophet'

20.02.2006 LISTEN
By Public Agenda

Prophet Peter Anamoh of the Machaira of the Pneuma Foundation, a religious and spiritual NGO has prophesied that on the midnight of February 23, 2006, new gates of economic empowerment will be opened to Ghana, after 40 years of economic wilderness.

This was one of 14 prophesies Prophet Peter revealed to Public Agenda in Accra. He said 2006 will be a delicate year for Ghana, since it will determine whether the country will be prosperous and peaceful.

He said Ghana drifted into abyss after independence due to the failure of the church to provide divine leadership. According to the prophet, Ghana was thrown into the wilderness from February 24, 1966, when military misrule started, and led the nation into spiritual, economic, social and political confusion, as well as total disobedience to God.

"It is time for people who understand the Lord to gather the children of the nation to cry out unto the Lord for his mercy to bring her out of the wilderness", he preached.

Further, he stated, that God has a divine provision for every nation when it is 50 years old, (jubilee). He explained that since Ghana was gained independence on March 6, 1957, she will be entering her jubilee next year, a period of awakening and the beginning of prosperity.

Prophet Peter cited the cancellation of the country's debts, the cessation of all forms of oppression, the release from foreign domination and the return to the fear of the lord as fruits of the jubilee Ghanaians were already enjoying.

He entreated the leadership of the body of Christ to disseminate the message of God to the people in order to enable the country to benefit from God's grace.

Outlining the 14 prophecies, Prophet Peter said the Lord will begin to expose secrets of institutions, organizations, churches and all groups. "Judgement will continue seriously in the first four months of this year. There will be serious shake ups and confusion in all political parties. That is what has started in NDC and CPP and it will happen to the NPP."

He said 2006 will signal the removal of old African leaders who have refused to leave office and prophesied that God was about to change the image of Nigeria to prepare her for the cause of Africa, saying that there will be serious shake ups in the whole of Africa. However, he said Nigeria will experience problems.

He said America's troubles will continue this year, while Europe's economic power will begin to suffer some setbacks. North Korea, he said will begin to be naked in her dealings, while God will shake up Cuba as a nation.

Prophet Peter who professes's to be an apostle, a teacher, a prophet and an evangelist, prophesied last year that Ghana was going to experience so many deaths, including those in authority, if Ghanaians did not repent.

From July 15, 2005 when Public Agenda first published his prophesy about deaths in Ghana, the country has experienced mysterious deaths, particularly through accidents, including 17 members of the Santansi branch of the Deeper Life Bible Church, in Kumasi, three urologists of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital,11 deaths on the Obuasi road and the Dangbe East District Chief Executive who died in an accident with his wife and elder son.

Prophet Peter Anamoh had also prophesied the collapse of four big churches but declined to name them when pressed to be specific. "So far none of the churches has approached me because they do not care."

Prophet Peter boasts of making some prophecies in December 2004, which came true. He is believed to have made a prophecy about the wrangling in parliament, prior to the inauguration of President John Agyekum Kufuor, on January 7, 2005, which delayed the programme.
