AUG 21, 2019 LISTEN

A philanthropist who goes by name Stephen Oppong in an interview with Razak Ghana has said that seeing a smile on the faces of orphaned children is a priority and a promise he wishes to keep.

Mr. Stephen Oppong made his intentions known after a second donation to a children's home.

Berema Dee as some people call him made this generous offer when he paid a courtesy call on the orphans at "Mother Home Care Of Orphanage" at Oda Road in Swedru on 20th August, 2019.

The items worth 5, 000 cedis included bags of rice, assorted drinks, biscuits, oil among others.

He made a similar generous offer last year giving out items to the tune 3, 000 cedis to the children. He therefore vows to be doing this for as long as he can.

I know how it feels to be an orphan and no parent chooses to die and leave their children behind as orphans", he said. This is what motivates him to take up such philanthropic works. It is Mr. Oppong's wish to always see food on the tables of most orphans if not all of them. "Seeing a smile on the faces of orphans is my priority", he stated.

Both the orphans as well as the workers appreciated the works of Berema Dee.

"I believe as time goes on, I will be building schools and hospitals for them", Berema Dee wishes.

He, therefore, entreats all Ghanaians to spend money on the needy and orphans for no one chooses to be an orphan.
