The Youth Wing of the National Democratic Congress congratulates the newly elected executives of the Graduate Students' Association of Ghana (GRASAG) for their resounding victory at the recently held 25th Annual Residential Congress of the Association. We also congratulate the outgoing executives for a successful tenure of service and dedication.
The Congress organized under the theme; Towards Agenda 2030 : The Place of Graduate Research and Funding Opportunities, was held at the University of Energy and Natural Resources, UENR, Sunyani.
To the President, Mr Ekow Sagoe of the Kwame University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and the Vice President, Muniru Gazari of the University of Ghana, we are delighted that you have been charged with leading the front for the next academic year.
While we congratulate you and your executives, we remind you of the numerous challenges facing Graduate students in the country. We charge you to be the voice of students against popular opinion and senseless policies that will not innure to the well-being of graduate students.
The faith reposed in you by the entire graduate students speaks highly of your competence, and the expectations expected of you. We are optimistic that you would discharge your duties with alacrity and sincerity, holding true the mandate that had guided our students' front all these years.
The National Democratic Congress will always support you in all endeavors as we have done in the past. We look forward to working with you as we make graduate education in Ghana a reference point.
