Prophet Badu Kobi's Wife Muddies the Waters for Him – "Like Husband, Like Wife" Indeed!

There is a maxim that goes, "Behind every successful man, there is a woman". Therefore, what is the case when there is a failed, disgraced or an insulting man? Will there be a wife? Again, there is an idiom, "Like father, like son". This is said "when a son shows similarities to his father in mannerisms, interests, behaviour, etc." This is amplified in Ezekiel 16:44: ‘Behold, every one that useth proverbs shall use this proverb against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is the daughter’. Subsequently, as is the husband, so is the wife.

The wife of Prophet Badu Kobi, Mrs Gloria Badu Kobi, has proved to the whole world, and beyond any shred of doubt the veracity of the saying as in Ezekiel 16:44 but transposed or paraphrased as, "As is the husband, so is the wife". From an interview she granted to Kofi TV of which its video is reproduced below, the woman is in perfect concordance with her husband in whatever he does; no matter how stupidly and off on a tangent he behaves.

Given Prophet Badu Kobi's irresponsible behaviour of persistently bashing His Excellency the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, for his parochial political interests and a wish for cheap popularity and fame, Mrs Gloria Badu Kobi sees nothing wrong about it. Seeing her husband denigrate Ashanti, Fanti and Ewe women in his recent bout of madness in front of his church congregation, Gloria thinks her husband is 100% right. What a wife!

She is asking Ghanaians to bear with her husband as whatever her husband says, whether it is politically inclined, religious in nature or whatever, it comes from God. She claims in the interview that all the predictions of her husband comes to pass. I am sure she is herself not living in the real world but a world of fantasy where lies are truth and insults are glorified or else, she will not be asking Ghanaians to accept all the nonsense spewed by her populist satanical prophet for facts.

Let it be conveyed to the attention of Gloria, an Ashanti, that most of the prophecies of her fake-prophet husband, do not come to pass. She should ask herself why her husband hates and insults President Akufo-Addo with passion. The so-called prophet Badu Kobi, an NDC activist, predicted that then presidential candidate Nana Addo could never win election 2016. He predicted that then president cum presidential-candidate John Dramani Mahama was going to win the election hands down. However, as man proposes and God disposes, the reverse of his prediction became the result at the end of the elections.

He had predicted that the Akufo-Addo family was cursed hence nobody from that family could ever become the President of Ghana. Are we all not witnessing the contrary to his prophecy? Is Nana Akufo-Addo from the Akufo-Addo family not currently the president of Ghana? Additionally, did Badu Kobi, a seemingly prophet of the devil, not prophesy that the Nigerian President Alhaji Buhari was going to lose his stage for re-election in the Nigerian elections of 2019? Has Alhaji Buhari not won the re-election?

From the above cited instances, how could Mrs Gloria Badu Kobi claim that whatever her husband says is from God and that they come to pass? Who is she trying to deceive if not herself? Let me quote the gospel, thus, Acts 5:1-10, to prove to her the punishment for lying to the Holy Spirit. For the sake of those who have no bible handy, I shall reproduce the entire quoted scripture here.

Ananias and Sapphira
"5 Now a man named Ananias, together with his wife Sapphira, also sold a piece of property. 2 With his wife’s full knowledge he kept back part of the money for himself, but brought the rest and put it at the apostles’ feet.

3 Then Peter said, “Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land? 4 Didn’t it belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, wasn’t the money at your disposal? What made you think of doing such a thing? You have not lied just to human beings but to God.”

5 When Ananias heard this, he fell down and died. And great fear seized all who heard what had happened. 6 Then some young men came forward, wrapped up his body, and carried him out and buried him.

7 About three hours later his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. 8 Peter asked her, “Tell me, is this the price you and Ananias got for the land?”

“Yes,” she said, “that is the price.”

9 Peter said to her, “How could you conspire to test the Spirit of the Lord? Listen! The feet of the men who buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out also.”

10 At that moment she fell down at his feet and died. Then the young men came in and, finding her dead, carried her out and buried her beside her husband. 11 Great fear seized the whole church and all who heard about these events"

Instead of she, Gloria, using the given platform to apologise to Ghanaians for the faux pas by her husband, she rather came out supportively of him without seeing that the husband was wrong. She claims the husband is right in whatever he does and says. Therefore, he is 100% right when slandering President Akufo-Addo. He is 100% right insulting Ashanti, Fanti and Ewe women in front of his congregation.

From a comment someone passed on a publication on Ghanaweb.com, if I got the fellow right, Mrs Gloria Badu Kobi is an Ashanti from Juaben. If she is from Juaben in the Ashanti region, then we are town mates. I am therefore ashamed of her by she childishly missing the opportunity offered her by the presenter and owner of Kofi TV, Mr Kofi Adoma Owawani, to use the offered media platform to plead with Ghanaians through rendering of an apology to forgive her husband for his thoughtless, if not stupid, insults, he has lately rained on Ashanti, Fanti and Ewe women.

Once, someone said people from Juaben are savvy but you have let them down by your insistence that whatever your husband says or does comes from God so he is always right.

I do not suffer fools kindly as when you spare the rod, you spoil the child, but today, I am treating you with child's gloves but tomorrow, I shall treat you with Mike Tyson's gloves. I hope you get what I mean.

Prophet Badu Kobi is a bitter NDC activist who does still not understand why Nana Akufo-Addo and NPP should win election 2016 because of his knowledge of how the NDC had put in place all that were needed to rig the election; conniving with Charlotte Osei, Amadu Sulley, and installing machines for that purpose. Because he is not a genuine prophet but prophesies based on his knowledge of ongoing situations in the society, he could not see that upon all the preparations made by NDC, they were going to lose woefully.

Let Badu Kobi bear in mind that man proposes and God disposes. I leave him and his ignorant wife to other fellow Ghanaians to deal with while I concentrate on dealing with the Kumawu chieftaincy dispute where the Asante "Overlord" is erroneously criminally claiming he has the absolute right not only to control Kumawuman but also, appropriate to himself whatever he wants from Kumawuman. As God has exposed the absurdity of, and shenanigans by, Prophet Badu Kobi, so shall He do to the Asante "Overlord" with the passage of time.
