Missionary doctors offer free upper cervical treatment at Tema

By GNA

Tema, Jan.30, GNA - A team of missionary doctors in Chairo practice, from the Knee Chest Upper Cervical Specific (KCUCS), a medical non-governmental organisation, with its headquarters in the US, is to offer free upper cervical adjustment to residents of Tema and its surrounding communities.

They use an instrument known as Thermeter to check temperature difference from one part of the body to the other and this is done at the back of the neck, the joint between the neck and the spine. Dr Robert Kissinger leader of the team said their main focus was to make sure the head was properly aligned on the spine.

"With the help of the Thermeter, the imbalance is detected and we immediately effect the correction," He added.

Dr Kissinger said the brain stem controlled all parts of the body and lack of proper alignment could make the body prone to all kinds of diseases.

He mentioned birth trauma, emotion trauma, falls and accidents as some of the major cause of dis-alignment within the body. The team leader said they were on a Christian mission and their ambition was to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ to Ghanaians through healing and was optimistic they could treat between 30,000 to 40,000 people during their one week stay.

The 21-member team is made up of doctors from Canada, United States, Spain, Italy, France, Hungary and Australia. They have visited Kenya, Jamaica, Bulgaria, Costa Rica and Trinidad and this year is their third visit to Ghana.
