Kasoa, Jan 22, GNA - The Kasoa Police is on the look out for one Kofi Gunto in connection with the death of Kakrah, a scrap dealer in Accra.

According to Mr Charles Adalong, Assistant Superintendent of Police in-charge of Kasoa District, upon information, police found the dead body of the deceased opposite the Bible School, on the Kasoa-Winneba Road with the left eye and both hands swollen, giving indication that "Kakrah was beaten to death.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency at Kasoa on Friday, ASP Adalong said about midnight on Sunday, January 8, this year, Gunto contacted one Mallam Alhassan to accompany him somewhere, but the invitation was turned down.

This was after Gunto's unsuccessful attempt to persuade one Ninko to the same unknown destination, ASP Adalong said.

The following day, Ninko hinted Panyin that the dead body of his twin brother was laying on the trunk road, quoting Gunto as the one who gave the information of the where about of Kakrah. Ninko said he was cautioned by Gunto not to divulge the secrete but the bean was spilled and eventually the information reached the police. Meanwhile, effort to get Gunto to assist in the investigations has not yielded any positive result, ASP Adalong added.
