Tragedy has hit the Ghanaian Community.
The community has lost a man of vision and foresight. We regret to announce the sudden death of Nana Kwaku Agyeman, popularly known as Ajingo at the age of 42 years. He passed away at the Humber River Regional Hospital, Finch site on Wednesday January 18, 2006 around 11.30 am., after a very short illness.
He left behind his dear wife Sophia Aboagye. He had some immediate family members also here in Toronto, one being Mrs.Sophia Antwi his elder sister. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
Nana Agyeman was the pioneer in bringing African Television (African Entertainment Television) to Canada. He also founded the Ghana NetRadio(internet radio) and Sankofa Radio 101.3 FM (CMR Radio). He was also a music producer.
Nana came to Canada in 1986. We have really lost a community leader whose shoes will be hard to fill. Rest in Peace Nana. Damirifa Due Damirifa Due Due.
