C/R : Police Guns Down Two Suspected Robbers, Others On The Run

The Kasoa Divisional Police Commander, Chief Superintendent Charles Kofi Adu has confirmed that his men have gunned down two robbers during a robbery attack.

Meanwhile, other accomplices are currently on the run after their colleagues were shot dead at F&J Quarry by the police yesterday morning.

Some workers who fell victim to the attack narrated that the robbers directed the workers to lie down after taking their phones and monies from them.

"The robbers then took I and one other operator to lead them to our Chinese bosses. Unfortunately for them, there were police personnel with the Chinese who in defense were able to shoot and kill two of the suspected robbers" some of the victimized workers told this reporter.

The Manager of the Quarry company, Oliver Huan explaining the incident to the reporter however commended the police for their swift response.

The body of the two robbers identified by their nicknames as Saah, 27 and Scarely, 36 have been deposited at the police mortuary pending autopsy.
