Doctors report has not been issued yet, but police said preliminary investigation and examination on the lifeless body of Mike, indicated he sustained severe fracture in the skull.

The deceased face, the police said was also completely deformed with blood as a result of the attack.

Mike lifeless body, the police added, has since been deposited at the St. Joseph Hospital morgue for preservation and autopsy, after the necessary investigation at the crime scene was done.

According to DSP Tetteh, the suspect whom locals confirmed to be in mentally unstable condition was arrested whilst the grinding stone also been retrieved.

Some residents, including the Assembly Member for Aboabo Electoral Area, Achirah Samuel Tettey, confirmed Rebecca's mental condition was detected after she and the husband had settled in the community about five years ago having built their own house.

Per the assemblyman accounts, Rebecca mental condition intermittently triggers her to engage in several misconducts in the community but expressed that it led to the killing of her husband whom he described a very quiet man.
