Accra, Jan. 9, GNA - President John Agyekum Kufuor on Monday held discussions with a delegation from the United Kingdom-based Engineering and Construction for Petroleum Limited (EC4), which is in the country to conclude arrangements for possible investment in the road and water sectors of Ghana's economy at the Castle, Osu.
Mr Faisal Kasim, a top class Saudi Businessman and President of the Company, led the delegation.
President Kufuor said the future demanded partnerships not only between nations, but the private sector and businesses.
He said it was on the basis of this that he was happy that the Company, which was well into international systems in terms of investment, had come to explore business opportunities. Mr Kasim said they were in Ghana because of the favourable international reports about Ghana's democracy, open door policy and political stability.
