Agona West Municipal Battle Ready To Top 2019 BECE League Table

"Agona West Municipality is battle ready to top 2019 BECE league table in the Central Region and the country as a whole and am hopeful that our candidates are fully equipped to deliver unprecedented results this year."

According to Municipal Chief Executive for Agona West, Hon. Mrs Justina Marigold Assan, the Municipality will achieve more distinctions in the 2019 BECE adding that the candidates have all it takes to get their desired grades.

Hon. Mrs Justina Marigold Assan after a three week intensive vacation classes held for final year students preparing for 2019 BECE under the theme; "Road Map to BECE Distinction in Agona West Municipality," about 632 students were drawn from 16 Basic Schools in Agona Swedru who were preparing the students for the exams.

The MCE lauded Ernesto Multimedia for organizing the classes to help achieve their target for the Municipality.

She urged the students to stick to their books and approach their exams questions with confidence.

"Let me thank the Agona West Municipal Directorate of the Ghana Education Service as well as Swedruman Council of Chiefs for supporting this laudable project. An extremely hopeful that this classes has given you the tricks to answer the BECE questions correctly as required by your Examiners. Go for Gold, don't let anything deter you from achieving your aims. Concentrate on your books to produce brilliant results for Agona West Municipality," the MCE stated.

The MCE further stated " Use this opportunity to give us single digit numbers for your grades so that you can attend the best Senior High Schools in the country. This vacation classes is not going to be a 9-day Wonder but it would continue till every student scores single number grade in BECE. Am confidence that Agona West will perform better, top the regional league table and the country as a whole."

The Chief Executive Officer of Enerto Series Multimedia, Mr. Enerst Ato Bentil said the special BECE classes was aimed at transforming the traditional classroom routine business to a learning environment facilitated using ICT.

"The group is made up of WAEC assistant Examiners who are helping the candidates to use past questions as a way of dealing with questions. Am grateful to my team members, Mr Dennis Kwesi Abaka Badzi, Mr Felix Owusu Tawiah, Mr. Joseph Christopher Assan and Mr Samuel Ferguson. We are partnering Agona West Municipal Directorate of the Ghana Education Service and the MCE who has the foresight of upgrading standard of Education in the Municipality"

Ninfahene of Agona Swedru, Nana Essienyi V, Agona West Municipal Director of Ghana Education Service, Madam Elizabeth Helen Essel, Deputy Director in charge of Finance and Administration, Madam Suzzy Danso and Mr. Ismael Ogyefo, Agona West Municipal Coordinating Director were present at the occasion.
