GREATER ACCRA NDC WOMEN'S WING WISHES ALL MUSLIMS A SOLEMN & FRUITFUL RAMADAN

The Greater Accra RegionalWomen's Wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) wishes all Muslims across the country, especially the Women, a successful Ramadan as they begin the 2019 month long fast to repent and ask for forgiveness from all wrong-doings from Allah.

The holy month of Ramadan is one of the five pillars of Islam and represent a period for all Muslims to purify their mind, body, heart and soul by fasting and offering up prayers to Almighty Allah.

On behalf of the regional women's wing and on my own behalf, I wish you the very best as you also dedicate yourselves in self-sacrifice, abstinence from drink or food and physical needs and devoting yourselves to the rules of Allah.

As you offer up prayers unto the Almighty Allah, I implore you to remember the nation in your prayers; for the Almighty Allah to have mercy on us as a people and replenish His many blessings on us.

I take the opportunity to also request you for special prayers for the NDC, as we prepare for our parliamentary primaries and the general elections in 2020, that the peace and favour on the Almighty shall be upon us.

Once again, it is my humble prayer that this holy month of Ramadan be fruitful for you, your love ones and the nation as a whole. May the Almighty Allah bestow on you the strength and courage to begin and complete this spiritual journey of purification.

May all of us find peace in this Holy month of Ramadan.
