Mornah, Akufo-Addo Is a Far Better President Than Your Idol Mahama!

The Techiman demonstration, apparently orchestrated by frustrated Left-leaning opposition politicians like Mr. Johnson Asiedu-Nketia, the monarchical and tyrannical longtime General-Secretary of the country’s main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), and veritable political nuisances like Mr. Bernard Mornah, the National Chairman of a rag-tag agitprop group going by the name of the Coalition for National Sovereignty (CNS), who also doubles as the National-Secretary of the Limann-founded and Nkrumah-inspired People’s National Convention (PNC), did not seem to have any coherent focus; so, it is not clear to the likes of yours truly just what the aforesaid demonstration was really about (See “Akufo-Addo Should Pack and Leave the Presidency – Monarh” Modernghana.com 5/5/19).

Mr. Mornah has been widely known to be on the payroll of the National Democratic Congress, being fully aware of the fact that the PNC is highly unlikely to ever form a government in Ghana’s Fourth Republic in his lifetime. This, of course, means that Mr. Mornah is a Janus-Faced political operative and a veritable economic parasite who, nevertheless, knows where his bread is buttered. As a staunch supporter of former President John Dramani Mahama, presently fighting desperately to be returned to Jubilee House by the very Ghanaian voters who roundly rejected the former Gonja-West National Democratic Congress’ Member of Parliament by more than one-million votes in the 2016 Presidential Election, it was incumbent on the PNC’s National-Secretary to have told his fellow demonstrators what the infamous Ford Expedition Payola Scam-Artist or the Affair Kanazoe Robber-Baron did better than his immediate successor, to wit, President Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, in both the uphill battle against corruption and the general development of the country.

Mr. Mornah also ought to have since long realized by now that the fate and the direction of the Akufo-Addo Presidency do not depend on his mere say-so or the critic’s decidedly pointless street demonstrations but, rather, on the direct approval or disapproval of his performance by eligible Ghanaian voters, of whom his is just a single one out of some over 11 million legitimately registered voters. In other words, if the PNC’s National-Secretary is truly convinced that Nana Akufo-Addo needs to relocate or change his official residence, Mr. Mornah definitely knows the process by which to facilitate the induction of engendering the same, instead of aimlessly strolling the streets of Techiman, the Bono-East’s capital, and raving and screaming like a madman, literally, chasing nothing – my profuse apologies to Malawi’s Prof. David Rubadiri, late.

He is indisputably a lunatic because Mr. Mornah ought to have been fully aware by now, of the fact that the leadership competence of Mr. Mahama was put to the test in the 2016 Presidential Election and resoundingly rejected.

As usual, Mr. Johnson Asiedu-Nketia (aka Bui Dam Woyome), did what he does best, which was to vacuously threaten Mrs. Jean Adukwei Mensa, Chairperson of Ghana’s Electoral Commission (GEC), by claiming without any substantive evidence, whatsoever, that the EC’s scheduled limited voters’ registration exercise would deliberately and deviously disenfranchise at least one-million eligible voters in the leadup to the 2020 general elections. Of course, the preposterous implication here is that, somehow, these one-million voters are predominantly supporters of the National Democratic Congress. But that this figure of one-million voters who purportedly risk being disenfranchised in the leadup to the 2020 general election are also exactly the number of voters by whose margin then-President John Mahama lost the 2016 Presidential Election, tells us more about the shamelessly ungodly intentions of the man derisively called General Mosquito than the practical reality on the ground.
