1D1F: There Is No Soya Beans Processing Factory In Kintampo

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) says the attempt to suggest that they (the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) government) has constructed a soybeans processing factory in Kintampo North under its 1 District 1 Factory (1D1F) program is deceptive.

According to a statement released from the office of the NDC in Kintampo, the list believed to have been put out by government with soybeans processing company in the district does not exist.

“The Kintampo north constituency communications secretariat of the NDC took notice of a long list of 61 so-called 1D1F projects that are at various stages of completion in some selected Districts and municipalities in the country circulating on social media which the Kintampo north is inclusive,” the statement noted.

According to the NDC group, its checks revealed that such a 1D1F project is nonexistent in the Kintampo north municipality.

They further indicate that they have contacted the government to request for the location of the said factory but after 24 hours of making the inquiry, there has still not been any feedback from the President Nana Addo led administration.

AKUFO ADDO-BAWUMIAH LED NPP GOVERNMENT SERIAL LYING ABOUT THEIR PROMISED 1D1F PROJECTS EXPOSED AGAIN

The Kintampo north constituency communications secretariat of the NDC took notice of a long list of 61 so-called 1D1F projects that are at various stages of completion in some selected Districts and municipalities in the country circulating on social media which the Kintampo north is inclusive.

In the said list, number 13 is quoted as;

Name of Company- Agribusiness Consult

Activity- Soya beans processing

We want to put it records that our checks revealed that such a 1D1F project is nonexistent in the Kintampo north municipality.

We have since, the circulation of the said 1D1F list requested for the location of the factory to be disclosed to us but more than 24hrs now we have not received any response from the government. In fact, the NPP Communications Director for the Kintampo North constituency in the person of Mr Amoako Frimpong Benjamin popularly called Poppah who circulated the said list of 1D1F projects on social media has since gone into hibernation or suddenly developed mutism when asked to disclose the location of the said Soya Beans Processing Factory in the Kintampo north municipality as our 1D1F project the NPP government promised us and delivered on.

Information reaching us indicated that NPP communicators and serial callers are are misinforming the good people of Kintampo that the Soya Beans Processing Factory is located at PTC-Magazine, Kintampo with a signboard just opposite the MCE residence junction. However, our careful checks revealed that there is no factory with a signpost Agribusiness Consult at that area. It will interest you to know that the signboard located opposite the MCE residence junction is SUSTENANCE AGROVENTURES which is referring to SKY-3 Company limited, a well known multidimensional company in Kintampo. It's further revealing that a newly constructed company at the said location is a Cassava Processing Factory owned by our hardworking MP, Hon KWESI ETU-BONDE and which cannot be the Soya Beans processing factory located at that area.

This has once again exposed the Nana Addo-Bawumiah led government serial lies about the fulfilment of this flagship campaign promise contained in their 2016 manifesto which they vigorously and loudly campaigned on then in opposition.

This further lend credence to what the NDC continually say the Nana Addo-Bawumiah led NPP government is plaqued with DISHONESTY and LIES that they continue to churn out to Ghanaians in terms of delivering on their campaign promises especially that of the 1D1F.

We therefore requested that the NPP Communications directorate in the Kintampo north constituency headed by Poppah should come out and show the good people of Kintampo the location of our promised and delivered Soya Beans Processing factory under the 1D1F policy if not, we demand:

1. The Akufo Addo-Bawumiah led government should immediately delete the Soya Beans processing factory in the list which government alleged to have done for the good of Kintampo circulating on social media.

2. Government should render an unqualified apology to the good people of Kintampo for lying and deceiving them.
